Frequently asked questions
What size round mirror should I put above a basin?
Between 70 and 90 per cent of the width of the vanity unit – so 45 to 55 cm over a 60 cm unit, and 60 to 70 cm over an 80 cm unit. Our round LED mirrors are available in default diameters from 40 to 150 cm in 5 cm steps. You can also enter your own diameter to the millimetre on the product page.
How high should a round bathroom mirror be hung?
Leave 15 to 25 cm between the top of the vanity unit and the bottom of the mirror, and centre the glass on the basin rather than on the wall. The centre of the mirror should sit at eye level for the people who use the room daily.
Is a round LED mirror suitable for a small bathroom?
Yes. A circle takes up less visual space than a rectangle of the same width, and because the mirror provides its own light you do not need a separate fitting above it – useful when wall space is tight.
Will a round LED mirror mist up?
Not if you add heating. The heated pad behind the centre of the glass clears the middle in about two minutes and the whole surface in about five, so it is best switched on before you shower.
Can I get a round LED mirror in a custom diameter?
Round LED mirrors are available in default diameters from 40 to 150 cm in 5 cm steps. You can also enter your own diameter to the millimetre on the product page for your chosen LED mirror. The cut-to-size configurator is for round mirrors without lighting, from 13 to 150 cm.
