Frequently asked questions
How high should a gym mirror be fixed?
Bottom edge 30 to 40 cm above the floor, top edge at 190 to 200 cm. That clears skirting and equipment while still showing your feet in a squat and your hands overhead.
How wide should a home gym mirror be?
Cover the area you train in rather than the whole wall – about two metres for one person, three to four metres for two stations. A wider run is built from panels butted together.
Can you make one mirror for a whole wall?
We make single mirrors up to 200 cm in either direction. Beyond that, a mirrored wall is built from two or three panels butted together, which is easier to deliver, fix and replace.
Is safety film necessary on a gym mirror?
We strongly recommend it in any room where weights are used. Safety film holds the glass together if the mirror is struck, so it fails as a sheet rather than as loose fragments.
Do you supply gym mirror panel systems?
No, we supply the mirrors themselves, cut to your dimensions. Track and panel systems have to be sourced separately.
