Frequently asked questions
What size wall mirror should I choose?
Size it against the furniture below it, not the wall: 70 to 90 per cent of the width of the vanity unit, console table or chest of drawers. If nothing sits below it, a mirror between one third and one half of the wall width usually looks right.
How high should a wall mirror be hung?
Put the centre of the glass at eye level, around 150 to 160 cm from the floor, and leave 15 to 25 cm between the mirror and any furniture beneath it. For a full-length mirror, choose one 140 to 170 cm tall with the bottom edge 30 to 40 cm above the floor.
Are your mirrors frameless?
Yes, as standard – the glass is the whole mirror. An anodised brushed aluminium frame is available as an add-on in five finishes: matt black, matt grey, champagne gold, warm gold and silver.
How long does delivery take?
We dispatch within 4 working days and delivery is free on all orders, anywhere in the Republic of Ireland.
Do you deliver to Northern Ireland?
Not from this shop — daramio.ie delivers within the Republic of Ireland only. Northern Ireland is served by our UK shop, which prices in sterling.
How do I hang a heavy mirror?
Fix it at several points into something solid. On a plasterboard wall use heavy-duty cavity fixings or, better, screw into the studs; on a masonry wall use wall plugs rated for the weight. Mounting hardware is included with LED mirrors, and mirror mounting tape and adhesive are available as add-ons.
